Plant Bio

Philodendron Henderson’s Pride

Also known as Tigertooth Philodendron, Narrow Tiger, Jungle Boogie, and Serratum, this large Philodendron has lance-like leaves with distinct toothing. No matter what you call it, it’s a showstopper in any collection. Like many other Philodendron species, it appreciates bright light, average household temperatures, and average to above-average relative humidity levels. Water as the top half or so of the potting mix dries to the touch. If you’re in doubt about whether to water, it’s usually better to give it too little water than too much as it is rather susceptible to root rot.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
